Brain training is more popular today than ever before. Sudoku and crosswords have been joined by computer programs, and people are now conscious that they need to keep their brain, as well as their body, in shape.

However, the majority of exercises available today are focused on the same skills, and if one does not constantly update and modify the problems and make them more complex, the positive effect diminishes rapidly. Over time these activities become normal for the brain; it learns to do them on ‘autopilot’, and so stops developing.

Henry Ford believed that the most important thing in life is keeping your brain young. What was once science fiction is today reality. It has been proven that the brain is a dynamic organ. It is constantly changing throughout your life, and it can, and indeed should, be kept in shape, like your muscles.

But what happens if you don't?

Modern life is like a rat race. All this running around in circles damages your mental power, and everyday life does not put your brain under much pressure. To keep in shape, your brain needs the mould to be broken!
